DAY 1
Day 1 – Communication skills workshop led by Polish expert Agata Wiatr.
An unforgettable Camp for young people from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary is behind us! We spent the first day getting to know each other and building relationships, which created a great atmosphere for the rest of the days. We started with integration games, which helped us quickly break the ice and feel like one big family.
Later, thanks to the Polish team, we took part in an exciting city game, which revealed to us the nooks and crannies of beautiful Zamość. It was a great opportunity for foreign participants to get to know the city and its history in a unique way.
This was just the beginning of a five-day adventure, full of inspiration, friendships and unforgettable memories.
DAY 2
The second day of our Camp was dedicated to developing cooperation skills. The workshop was led by Anna Benišová, an expert from the Czech Republic, whose energy and experience ensured that everyone actively participated in the exercises.
During the workshop we learned how to work effectively in a group, resolve conflicts and support each other to achieve goals. Everyone was engaged and willing to share their experiences, which created an extraordinary atmosphere of understanding and cooperation.
We ended the day with a Czech cultural evening, tasting delicacies, dancing the traditional Czech Polka dance and competing in a quiz.
The day showed us how important teamwork is and how much we can do together!
DAY 3
On the third day of our Camp, we focused on developing critical thinking skills. The workshop was led by a Slovakian expert, Lukáš Hrošovský, who gave us an inspiring insight into the importance of analysing information and questioning the reality we see every day.
Through practical exercises, we learned how to recognise manipulation, distinguish between facts and opinions and build our own conclusions based on logical premises. It was a real intellectual adventure that opened our eyes to many issues!
All participants agreed that this workshop gave them new tools to make more informed decisions and assess the world around them.
At the end of the day, the Slovak team presented national traditions and conducted the quiz with a lot of creativity and fun.
DAY 4
On the fourth day we focused on developing the creativity of young leaders! The workshop was led by a Hungarian expert, Robert Gombasi, who showed us the important role creativity plays in leadership and innovative decision-making.
Robert invited us to a series of exercises that stimulated our imagination and encouraged us to think 'outside the box’. We worked on how to express our ideas with courage, develop innovative projects and inspire others to take action.
The fourth evening was celebrated with a Hungarian Cultural Evening, during which we learned about Hungarian heritage and a bit about contemporary politics with a pinch of salt.
It was an extremely creative day that allowed participants to discover their potential and find new ways to realise their visions as young leaders.
DAY 5
The fifth and final day of our Camp was full of emotions and special moments! We had the honour of presenting the effects of our work in front of the Youth Council of the City of Zamość and the representatives of the authorities of the City of Zamość, headed by Mayor Rafał Zwolak. It was a great satisfaction for us to be able to share our ideas and achievements with such a noble group.
Finally, after the official part, we indulged in a bit of relaxation and entertainment – we had a wonderful time at the Zamość Zoo. It was the perfect opportunity to strengthen our bonds and say goodbye in a light, joyful atmosphere.
The Visegrad Youth Camp has come to an end, but the memories we made here will stay with us for a long time. Thank you all for these wonderful days!
