MAIN GOAL:
The main project’s goal is to create local youth leaders as initiators of positive changes in local communities of Visegrad countries.
TARGET GROUPS:
- young people from partner countries interested in developing leadership skills (15-19 years old)
- persons working with youth in the area of soft skills
- environment of partner organisations (local communities,youth organisations, schools, local decision makers)
THE MAIN ACTIONS:
- Creating a set of educational materials (class scenarios, teaching aids) in the field of developing leadership competences needed to work with youth The handbook will be created as a result of the exchange of methodological practices between partner organizations and cooperation among experts of 4 Visegrad countries.
- V4 Leadership Youth Camp in Zamość Poland – 5 day international youth workshops in the field of developing leadership competences The topics of the Camp will focus on developing soft skills needed by young leaders to effectively introduce changes in their environment. The program will be based on the 4 Key Competences Model (communication, collaboration, critical thinking, creativity). Experts from all four partner countries will be involved in conducting classes during the camp: Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary
- Establishing Young Leaders Club of V4 The direct result of the camp will be creation of a project „Young Leaders Club of V4” by young people working in international groups. The project created by young people will respond to real needs and solve real problem faced by young people of V4 countries. This youth project will be developed and implementend after the event in local environmets of partner organisations (offline) and online by young people of 4 involved countries.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- 20 young people equipped with leadership skills
- 8 persons working with youth equipped with modern educational methods
- 4000 people from the environment of partner organizations familiar with the results of the project
- A developed set of tools and methods in the field of shaping youth leadership competences (class scenarios, teaching aids)
- Established Young Leaders Club of V4
